How long until I receive my purchase?

Most bags are in stock and ready to ship, and we ship weekly on Wednesdays.  For items marked as "made to order", please allow 2 weeks for your bag to be made.

Why is local shipping so high?

Squarespace doesn't easily allow for carrier calculated shipping, any shipping overcharges will be refunded to your credit card.

How do I clean my bag?

WAXED CANVAS: Avoid harsh soaps and detergents on the exterior of the bag as they can break down the wax finish. Brush off dirt with a clean, medium bristle brush (like an unused toothbrush or shoe polish brush) and spot clean with water. Air dry, re-wax as needed. The liner can be spot cleaned with mild soap and warm water.

LEATHER: Wipe down with a soft damp cloth, condition with you favorite natural leather conditioner. Always allow wet leather to air dry.

Can I re-wax my bag?

Why yes you can!  Waxed canvas is a durable, long lasting material and over years of use you may find the water repellent wax finish wearing thin.  You can use products like Martexin Original Wax or Otterwax on your bag.  A quick internet search will yield lots of instructionals and videos on the specifics of re-waxing canvas.

Do you have a storefront I can visit?

We don't have a storefront, all Items are produced in my East Oakland workshop.  If you are local and would like to see bags in person, fill out the contact form and we can try to figure out a good time.  Keep in mind that I can’t accept every request, and that I keep typical business hours.
